Active Duty Military Training Offered By National Heavy Equipment Operators School

Orange Park, FL (PRWeb) November 27, 2006 -- Heavy Construction Equipment Operator Jobs are now available for Retired Military Personnel. The jobs are being offered under a training program conducted by the National Heavy Equipment Operators School. Job opportunities are abundant for ex-military personnel because companies prefer hiring people who are disciplined, responsible, and experienced. Ex-military personnel are preferred because heavy construction equipment jobs require tremendous amounts of patience and dexterity, which are some of the basic qualities inherent in ex-military personnel. Ex-military personnel are also favored because they have the necessary training and qualification that allows them to understand the complex systems present in most construction machines and equipment.

By opting for the training program, ex-military personnel can get employment at any construction site, be it highway construction, bridge construction, railroad construction, or building construction. They can work in various positions such as pile-driver operator, paving operator, surfacing operator, and tamping equipment operator. The earning potential is also quite impressive. The data sample collected from all the states in the US shows that the top ten percent of the operators had earnings of more than $28.93/hour, the middle fifty percent earned in the range of $12.96 to $22.98.

The training is multi-dimensional as it allows ex-military personnel to get jobs and also allows them to learn all the tricks of the trade. The training caters to the needs of ex-military personnel who are looking forward to start their own small heavy construction equipment firm. Having an owner-operator type of career is often preferred because it allows ex-military personnel to earn more income and most importantly to enjoy the freedom of being their own boss.

The training classes are being conducted by the National Heavy Equipment Operators Schoolin Green Cove Springs, Florida. Interested candidates may contact the school at the following address or call for more information on the training program and placement opportunities.
